Well it's been way too long since I've been on the forum, a lot on my plate with work and school.

My car got hit in the parking lot where I work, no decency to leave a note or anything. Bashed my left front fender, the left front of my bumper, and pushed it all into my door. After climbing through the passenger seat for three days, I decided to pull it apart and check the damage. Luckily for me, there was only a bent bracket, but the integrity of the plastic is gone. I bent it straight again but the plastic is warped.

I got the car tuned at Carolina Auto Masters.
First run the car maxed power at 259.5 max torque 295.2
He tuned it up to 300 hp, but the car was running way lean.
On the third pull he tuned the transmission shift points and it maxed power at 267.9 max torque 301.2.
Those numbers may seem low but he tuned it so that instead of an arc reaching up to 267hp, it is more a straight line from shift to shift.

I think it may be an annual thing that my distributor goes out. Well we took it apart and found oil in it, causing miss fires. I sent off my MSD distributor because it was still under warranty and I just got it back. My dad and I figured if we are going to have the front end of the motor off, why not go all the way?

I just bought a Comp Cam Xtreme Energy 276HR-14 Hydraulic Roller Camshaft with: Lift: .510''/.510''Duration: 276°/290°RPM Range: 1500-5500 rpm and Aluminum Roller Rocker Arms 1.5 Ratio 3/8 Stud from Jegs. With those rockers I need taller valve covers so I picked up a pair of brushed aluminum ones for about $20.

The stuff should be here by tomorrow and I can't wait to get started. I'll keep everyone updated
